Armed Services
Armed services
Uniformed Services at Macademia introduces young people aged 12+ to careers in services such as the police, armed forces, fire service, and emergency response. Students explore roles, responsibilities, teamwork, leadership, and decision-making while developing discipline, confidence, and resilience.
The course is structured into six standalone modules, each running as a 6-week block (2-hour sessions). Modules can be taken in sequence or mixed with other subjects, allowing a flexible learning journey.
Through practical activities and scenario-based challenges, students experience what it’s like to work in high-pressure environments, building teamwork, communication, and problem-solving skills. The course supports GCSE and A-Level studies while helping students prepare for future pathways and careers in uniformed services and related fields.
