STREET ART & VISUAL REPRESENTATION
Street Art & Visual Representation at Macademia introduces young people aged 12+ to creative expression through urban art, visual communication, and contemporary culture. Students explore techniques, styles, and messages behind street art while developing their own artistic voice, confidence, and visual storytelling skills.
The course is structured into four standalone modules, each running as a 6-week block (2-hour sessions). Modules can be taken in sequence or alongside other subjects, allowing a flexible and personalised learning journey.
Through practical projects, experimentation, and real-world inspiration, students explore how art can communicate ideas, identity, and social messages. The course supports GCSE and A-Level Art while helping students build a strong portfolio and develop confidence in creative expression.
