LAW & CRIMINOLOGY
Law & Criminology at Macademia introduces young people aged 12+ to how laws are created, how justice systems work, and why people commit crime. Students explore key areas such as criminal behaviour, policing, courts, and human rights while developing critical thinking, debate, and analytical skills.
The course is structured into six standalone modules, each running as a 6-week block (2-hour sessions). Modules can be taken in sequence or mixed with other subjects, allowing a flexible learning journey.
Through case studies, discussions, and practical activities, students investigate real-world legal issues and criminology concepts. The course supports GCSE and A-Level studies while helping students build strong portfolio work and prepare for future study and careers in law, criminology, and related fields.
