INTERIOR DESIGN
Interior Design at Macademia introduces young people aged 12+ to the creative and technical world of designing spaces. Students explore how interiors are shaped by function, style, materials, and user needs, while developing skills in spatial planning, sketching, styling, and technical drawing.
The course is structured into six standalone modules, each running as a 6-week block (2-hour sessions). Modules can be taken in sequence or mixed with other subjects, allowing a flexible learning journey.
Through hands-on projects, students design their own interior spaces, from concept to final presentation. The course supports GCSE and A-Level studies while helping students build strong portfolio work and prepare for further study or careers in interior design and related fields.
