Our sessions are designed for young people aged 7–16, with different programmes suited to different age groups.
What types of sessions do you offer?
We offer a range of sessions including architecture, engineering, art, fashion design and more.
All sessions are hands-on and designed to give real insight into different subjects and career pathways.
Do you follow the school curriculum?
No — Macademia is not like school.
Our focus is on practical, real-world learning that builds confidence and skills, rather than traditional classroom teaching.
Is Macademia suitable for children with additional needs?
We welcome every child as an individual.
While we are not a specialist SEND provision, we create a calm and supportive environment where many young people feel more comfortable than in traditional settings.
How big are your groups?
We keep group sizes small to ensure each young person gets the support and attention they need.
Where are sessions held?
What should my child expect from a session?
Sessions are practical, engaging and structured.
Young people will be actively involved in creating, designing and exploring — not just listening.
Do you offer trial sessions?
Where possible, we are happy to offer taster sessions so you can see if Macademia is the right fit.
