INTERIOR DESIGN
Interior Design at Macademia Daytime Academy introduces younger learners to the creative world of designing spaces. Students explore how rooms are shaped by function, mood, colour, and materials, while developing creativity, confidence, and practical skills through drawing, planning, and hands-on activities.
The course is designed as flexible learning blocks for home-educated children, with 2-hour sessions that are semi-structured and project-based. Students are encouraged to explore ideas freely, experiment with layouts and materials, and develop their own creative style in a calm and supportive studio environment.
Through practical projects, students design their own spaces, from simple room ideas to more developed concepts, building confidence in visual communication and understanding how interiors work in real life.
