Astrophysics

Astrophysics

Astrophysics at Macademia introduces young explorers to the wonders of the universe and the fundamental laws of physics that govern it. Students dive into how planets are born, the explosive lives of stars, and the story of the universe while learning to spot patterns and discovering how nature works. The course is structured into flexible modules, each running as a 4 to 6-week block. Modules can be taken in sequence or mixed with other subjects, allowing for a flexible learning journey. Sessions are 2 hours long and follow a semi-structured, project-based approach where children can explore ideas at their own pace while being gently guided by tutors. Through hands-on activities, image/video visualisations, and computer simulations, learners investigate the mysteries of space and our place within it. The course builds strong critical thinking skills and nurtures curiosity, giving children a mindset of exploration and wonder.
