Daytime Academy
At Macademia, we understand that not every child thrives in a traditional school environment.
Our Daytime Academy provides a calm, supportive space where home-educated children can build confidence, develop core skills, and engage with learning in a way that works for them.
We recognise that every child is different. Some need a slower pace, some need more flexibility, and others need an environment where they feel comfortable and understood.
Too often, children who struggle in traditional settings can become disengaged or lose confidence in their abilities. Our approach focuses on rebuilding that confidence through small group, supportive learning.
Through our Daytime Academy, students can:
• Develop core skills in Maths, English and Science
• Learn in a calm, supportive and flexible environment
• Build confidence and independence
• Engage with learning in a way that suits their individual needs
Our sessions are semi-structured and often project-based, allowing subjects to naturally overlap and feel more relevant and engaging.
We keep group sizes small to ensure each child receives the support they need, and our experienced tutors create an environment where students feel safe, encouraged, and able to progress at their own pace.
Alongside core subjects, students also benefit from exposure to creative and practical learning experiences, helping them develop a broader set of skills.
This approach allows children to reconnect with learning, build confidence, and progress in a way that works for them.
